HEZEKIAH PORTER

Hezekiah, son of Samuel of Hadley, born In that place, Jan. 7, 1665. Little is known of Hezekiah's history other than he was a carpenter by trade. He married Hannah Coles In Hadley on May 20, 1686. She died September 5, 1701.  His second wife, Hannah, died in Last Hartford, December 18, 1708. He married Elizabeth, his third wife in 1714. About 1707, he removed to east Hartford, Conn., where he died January 3, 1752. Age eighty eight years.

There is evidently some grave errors in the records of Hazekiah's family. It will be noted in his genealogical page, that while his second wife died in 1708, and he married again in 1714, the dates of birth of two of his children are 1710 and 1712.
