Chapter
11 Revelations
I wish to thank Art M.
for his editorial assistance.
Porter
had the day off and Heinz had to work until 2000 hrs. He dragged himself out of
bed about 1200 hrs, got dressed and headed for Ocean Beach. It took him two
hours to get there, but it was worth it. He found the person he was looking
for. Porter wanted to do some acid with his friend Heinz that night but he
needed to get some. He found the young man he'd bought acid from a couple times
before that had been of good-quality. He came up to the guy, "what's happening?
You got any cid?"
"I've been looking for you; I have some really good stuff."
"Great, if it's that good, sell me a whole sheet!"
"I can't do that, I only have two hits and I saved them for you. Make sure you
do these with someone else and not by yourself. If you do these by yourself
you'll freak out."
"I plan on doing it with my friend Heinz tonight. Cid is always more fun with
someone else around. Thanks for saving the hits for me. How did you know I was
coming?"
"I've had them for several days, and I've been waiting to see you."
"I appreciate that. What's the cid called."
"It's
called Red Dragon!" he said. Every sheet of hundred hits of paper acid has a
picture drawn on them. The drawing on this acid would be a Dragon. "I saved
the eye of the Dragon for you."
"That's wild, I have to get back to see my friend. Have a great night."
"You have a great night too, my friend." It was the last time Porter would ever
see this man.
* * * * *
"I tell you, Heinz, this guy was acting kinda weird." Porter said while walking
down the street on Coronado Island. About 45 minutes earlier he and Heinz had
taken the acid he'd gotten earlier in the day. "I've never known a drug dealer
to actually save some drugs for me personally here in San Diego. Back home my
friend Mike would do something like that for me."
At that moment Porter had an epiphany. "Heinz, I just realized something. I
act differently with you than I do other people. As are a matter of fact, I act
differently with each person I come in contact with. It's like I adjust to
their level of intelligence. I don't know why I never noticed that before.
This is a cool concept; I think I'll call it my 'latter concept'. I'm on a roll
Heinz, I'm really going to mess with your head tonight."
At that moment Porter lost all control of his body. He stopped in his tracks
and fell to his knees. He felt no pain. He turned his head to look at his
friend Heinz who was also on his knees. Both of them repeated the words at the
same time, "Someone's Going to Mess with Both Your Heads at the Same Time."
Both Porter and Heinz got back up to their feet. "Wow, what was that, same
time!"
"Yes, same time, it just came into my head and I had to say it." Heinz replied.
"This is too weird Heinz, it's impossible, how can we both do and think the same
thing at the same time?"
"It's not possible, Porter."
At this point fear became overwhelming in both men. "Heinz, we need to get off
this island. I think we need to leave this place as soon as possible."
"I agree with you, lets get the hell out of here."
The men started walking quickly towards the more public areas of the island. It
was already after dark and things were quiet. Neither man spoke. Then a bugle
could be heard in the distance playing taps. "This is weird, Heinz. They only
play taps at sundown. That was an hour ago."
"What you think it means, Porter?"
"I think it means we have to get off this island as soon as possible!"
Porter and Heinz proceeded to the main road and flagged down a cab. The cab
stopped and they got in the back door. "Where to?" asked the taxicab driver.
"Anywhere. Just get us off this island," Porter explained.
"I can't just take you anywhere; you have to give me a specific place."
Porter thought for a few seconds of a place he felt most comfortable. "Take us
to Ocean Beach!"
"That's going to cost you about $25."
"No problem. We have plenty of money."
The taxicab pulled away from the curb and the taxicab driver turned on the
radio. "So what's up with you guys? Are you doing PCP, tripping on acid, or
just totally smoked out?"
"We're tripping on acid and we're paranoid," Porter replied.
The taxicab driver drove like an absolute maniac swerving in an out of traffic
on Coronado
Bridge.
The song, ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds,’ by the Beatles came on the radio.
For some reason the song absolutely tripped Porter out. Finally, they arrived
at Ocean
Beach
and paid the taxicab driver the money. They went down and sat on 'the rocks'
and started smoking a cigarette.
It started out slowly with the general revelation. 'You take the story of Adam
and Eve and put it together with the concept of sin, and put it together with
what you know about DNA and genetics my son,' thought Porter. "Adam and Eve,"
said Porter.
"Yes DNA," replied Art.
"The same concept that just popped in my head also popped into yours. Didn't
it, Art?"
"Yes, I see it. It's part of nature to pass on the actions of the parents' DNA
to their children. This is the real point of the story. Also, Satan was
right. Knowledge of good and evil made us very powerful."
"There's more. I see bottom-line concepts in this general concept, and I see
top line concepts in this general concept. There are many specific concepts in
this general concept. This is a pyramid wraparound concept. The top line is -
we don't have to follow nature and by changing and behaving a certain way we can
control the destiny of our family."
"Yes, Porter, this is flowing into my mind right now too, I was thinking the
same thing."
"It's an old one..."
"But a good one..." Heinz said finishing Porter sentence. “If it works, go with
it.” They would spend the rest of night finishing each other's sentences.
Next, Porter started seeing his whole life flashing before his eyes. Then
different parts of his life were put together much the same way as the first
concept. Line up online precept upon precept Porter understood the direction
his mind was being taken in. "I see it, Heinz. It's - I'll like what Mullens
said about the Kitty Hawk where they put all the bad apples in one place. My
soul is made up in part of the souls of every human being that ever lived.
That's why my personality changes based on who I'm with at that time. If I
observe how people treat me, I can understand how they feel about society. This
is a cool concept. I'll call it 'Sum of Man."
At this point Porter and Heinz decided that 'the rocks' was played out and
started walking towards NTC. While walking, huge concepts started coming into
both their heads at the same time. If any of you have seen the movie 'the
matrix' where they download into their brain how to fly a helicopter, and a few
seconds later you can do it, then you have some idea of what Porter and Heinz
were going through. This was a major file download in today's vocabulary - huge
databases. Porter was trying to will this information into long-term memory by
commenting after each concept that it should go into long-term memory. Both Art
and Porter also commented on whether it was a top line concept, bottom-line
concept or pyramid wraparound concept. Like a huge jigsaw puzzle, all the
pieces fit together. Then this thought came into Porter's head, 'this
experience is being shared!'
"Shared?" said Porter and Heinz together. 'Many many thousands of people all
over the world past, present and future are sharing in this experience my son.'
"I sure hope somebody out there is taking notes. I'll never be able to remember
all this. Heinz. It's really bothering me that after each one of these
concepts, the words 'my son' end the sentence."
"I'm not hearing those words, Porter, but I know you are. And it bothers me
too."
They couldn't take much time to contemplate that before the next concept came
busting into their head. They had given up making comments back-and-forth and
just talked nonverbally using their brains. This scared both of them so they
started talking again. Finally, Heinz and Porter took a break when they got to
the football stadium of the local high school. It had to be one or two o'clock
in the morning and no one was around. After a period of intense information
which probably doubled Porter's knowledge in the past two hours, came a period
of clarity. Porter had a moment in time, where he truly understood all things.
"I tell you, Heinz, it's all very simple. I recognized three different voices
this night. One voice made direct statements, this is the voice of the father,
and his number is one, one having many meanings. Another voice taught us
through stories, this is the son, his number is three," Porter realized that his
number was three also. "Another voice asked us questions. This is the Holy
Spirit and his number is two. It speaks to us all the time when we are not even
aware of it. His only purpose for existence is amusement. It's like one large
amusement park. It's like a big picture. God wants to make the movie and right
now he's looking for cast members. Those who will do what the Director wants
will have the best roles. All night long we have been receiving a jigsaw
puzzle. I can see it."
"I see it too, Porter."
For the next two hours they talked over many of the mysteries of the universe,
which they would remember later but never see with such clarity again. They
called this experience 'the school' and moved on. Next, was a stop at 'the
woods' where they smoked a joint. They had been smoking cigarettes heavily all
night long but this was the first time they smoked any weed. This seemed to
start the process of them coming out of the spiritual high they were on. After
smoking the joint, Porter could not find his lighter. He figured it was probably
time to take a break from smoking for a while. Concepts were still coming to
them but not as intensely as they were earlier. They moved on to a tree near
Naval Training Center and started talking some more. At this point, Porter
realized he'd lost his keys somewhere between 'the school,' 'the woods' and the
tree Porter was sitting under. This really bothered him as several times during
the night he'd been referred to as the key. He pointed this out to Heinz.
"Don't worry, Porter, there are locksmiths."
Porter stuck his hand in his pocket looking again for his keys and found his
lighter. "Well at least I found my lighter. I guess I can smoke another
cigarette now!"
Porter and Heinz walked around the base and found a Denny's. This was the first
time Porter had ever been in a Denny's, which was open 24 hours a day. The only
restaurants open 24 hours a day at that time were Stuckey's. They ordered
breakfast and discussed the night. "I tell you, Art, this has to be the
strangest night anyone's ever had. I have to go to work in about an hour. It's
going to take us that long to get there. Perhaps I should go UA for the day.
If anyone knew what I’ve been through they would understand." Heinz had the day
off but Porter had to work.
"You better not chance that, Porter. It's better to be late than not be there
at all."
"I guess I'm just going to have to put up a low level front and try to get to
the day," Porter replied. A low level front was something else they discussed
that night. Another word Bill used for that term that night was sidetracking.
It means to think about or do something basic to sidetrack the mind. Some
subjects in Porter's life he really didn't want to discuss. This didn't stop him
from being naked before the entire world.
Porter had carefully observed his waitress and was reminded of his mother when
he looked at her. What Porter didn't know at the time was that he'd just gone
thru an experienced Pentecostal call being baptized in the Holy Spirit. As a
result of this, he was also left with some supernatural spiritual gifts - one of
which being the gift of discernment. This gift would manifest itself in many
ways over the course of the next few weeks and years.
Porter and Heinz left the restaurant and got into a cab. On the way back to the
Aircraft Carrier the cab driver drove safer than the cab driver they had the
previous night. After getting out of the cab and going back on board the ship,
Porter and Heinz walked towards S2 division. "I'm only a half-hour late, Heinz,
so I shouldn't be in too much trouble. I'm going to be later because I don't
have my keys and I still have to change into work clothes. I don't know how I'm
going to get the lock off my locker."
Porter and Heinz walked into S2 division and saw Mullens with a hammer beating
on Porter's lock. "Heinz, why is he beating on my lock?"
"Because he knows you lost your keys," Heinz replied.
"Oh my God, you're telling me he knows? 'About last night!!!!!!!!'"
"They
All Know!
At this point Porter's brain blew a fuse. There was no way he was going to try
to analyze the repercussions. That would certainly come later. Porter ignored
everybody as at least 15 people were looking at him walking over to his locker
and pulled out his working clothes for the day. First Class Petty Officer
Mirallas gave him a dirty look as he walked into the Galley 45 minutes late but
didn't say anything.
The lights were on but nobody was home. Porter was operating on his lower brain
functions. All of his higher brain functions had been shut down. It hurt to
think. He couldn't be bothered. Around 1100 hrs Heinz came by, looked at him,
and said, "Why?"
Porter only barely acknowledged him by looking up. He didn't even consider the
question. About 10 minutes later someone else came up to him and asked why.
Within the next three hours at least a dozen people had walked up to him and
asked the question, "why?" He shifted his mind into gear ever so slightly and
thought, 'Heinz must be going around telling people to mess with me. I don't
know why.'
After working for about 12 hours, Porter was finally released for the day.
First Class Petty Officer Mirallas told Porter to never bring his personal
problems to work again. Porter looked at him as if to say, you don't have a
clue what I've been through the last 24 hours. Although still very muddled,
Porter's brain was starting to come back to life and he was getting his second
wind. He went into the compartment and found Art Heinz was waiting for him.
"You want to get out of here Porter?"
"I sure do," Porter replied.
"Can I come along too," asked Sheridan. "I kind of like to see this for myself."
"Yes, you can come, Sheridan," Porter replied. "I understand that you know, and
I know that you know. I know that you know, I know, you know, it's cool."
The three men rode the bus in silence as they headed towards NTC. They got off
near the main gate and headed up towards 'the woods.' They went down to 'the
woods' and smoked a joint. At that point, Porter actually started feeling
normal again. This would not last for long. "This place is played out, Heinz,
let’s get out here." Porter said.
After getting out of the ravine and up onto the street, Porter stopped. "Heinz?
Why have people been coming up to me all day long asking me, "why?" I don't get
it."
"Porter, there's something everybody else knows that you don't."
Porter considered this. "You're saying the reason why I've been thru all this
the last 24 hours is because of this rock-and-roll fantasy thing I have going
on?!"
"Yes, that's part of it. That's what started it all. However, that has been in
God's plan since the beginning."
"So if that is not the reason why Heinz, what is?" Porter said extremely
impatiently.
"As It Was, so Again It Shall Be."
Porter remembered those same words he'd heard when he was eight years old. His
eyes got his big as saucers. "You mean to tell me that Christ is alive
today..."'through me?' He couldn't say the words.
"Yes." Heinz replied. Sheridan was being quiet while observing everything
going on. Don't you understand, the concept isn't sum of Man, it's Son of Man.
"Wait a
minute. Wait one second here. We're going to need lots of confirmation. We
need answers to all these questions not just why. We're going to have to answer
all the "W" questions. Who, what, when, where, and how. Well "how" isn't really
a "W" question now is it? It's an "H" question. If what you're telling me is
true, then I'm dead."
"What you have just experienced Porter is the start of a new dispensation. In
this dispensation all things are made known. All these questions and more will
be answered."
"Wait a minute, you're telling me that all of this is in the Bible?"
"Absolutely."
"Well
I'm not going to try to find it all there I mean let's look at it, Heinz. If
what you say is true, I'm not going to go back in time to 1963, I would go all
the way back to the time of Christ. I have no knowledge of that life and that's
who I am. Then that must be something that I have yet to do. After I do that,
comes the resurrection of the body of Christ where all those that are members of
the body of Christ past, present and future are resurrected into heaven that one
time. I saw that yesterday or was it today? Then we come back at a time before
the destruction of the world, say 1963, and we have knowledge of our first life
plus all the knowledge of the history of the last 2000 years in order to change
the world. It does sound like kind of a cool concept. I'll call this concept
the Transfiguration of the body of Christ. It would seem that we retained the
knowledge we had from last night. I almost feel as if I have no choice in the
matter."
"But you do have a choice," Art replied. "You will be presented with more
information at which point you'll need to make a choice. You could choose to
have a normal life or you could choose to pursue what you see now."
"It would seem I have much to think about, and many people to discuss it with.
Life onboard ship should be interesting. I understand now, why! Why Me!"
"Let's
start with - How?" says Porter finishing the conversation near 'the woods' with
Heinz and Sheridan. How is it possible to have time travel?"
"It's all a dream." Said Heinz.
"So what you're telling me is the nature of this life is - it's all in my head,
and some day I'll wake up? And everyone else exist within my dream! I'll have
to think about that more, but it's possible."
"The next W question is What. What do I need to do?"
"You need to prepare yourself!"
"I'll accept that. I sure do know I'm not ready right now. Not doing drugs and
running around sinning like crazy. I guess that my first thought is – I
probably need to try to clean up my act."
"Won't work, after years and years of sinning, your heart has become hard.
There is nothing you can do to change those things. They will change, but it
will take time."
"My guess is some day I'm going to have to tell the story of what happened
yesterday. If I tried to do that now, I wouldn't know where to start. Who are
you, Heinz? I know you're cooking on a higher level then me right now!"
"Well, well, well, you finally figured out something on your own."
Porter's jaw hit the floor. He had another epiphany. He discerned the fact
that Art Heinz and his grandfather had the same personality. "I see it."
"Good read, Porter, you have much to learn."
Porter has yet to confront his shipmate about what they all ready seem to know.
Porter has moved from living in a fantasy world to a full-blown Christ complex.
There is no way any of Porter's life is going to remain a secret.
