4. Restricted Areas

    a. Restrictions set forth do not apply to persons required by official duties to enter an area.

(1) Male personnel are excluded from:

    (a)               All women's quarters except in lounges of Building 525.

(2) Female personnel are excluded from:

     (a) All BEQ's housing male personnel, except CPO lounge (building 488), BEQ's 90 and 91 lounge areas, BEQ 543 reception lounge and buildings 495 and 505.

(3) Personnel not on official duties or authorized business are excluded from:

    (a)               All unoccupied or secured buildings.

    (b)               Telephone Center, Bldg. 9.

    (c)               Disaster Preparedness Center, Bldg. 202.

    (d) Special Services boat piers and appurtenant boats. (Persons using recreational boats may use pier during designated hours).

    (e) Public Works Industrial area including Transportation Compound.

    (f)           All boiler rooms.

    (g)          Supply Department Salvage Yard, Bldg. 187.

    (h)          Senior Officers' Quarters and surrounding grounds, bounded on the south by Dewey Road; on the east by Woodworth Way; on the north by a southwest boundary line through the limits of Fairways Nos. 3, 4, and 6 of the Sail Ho Golf Course and tennis court; on the west by the Rosecrans Boulevard sidewalk.

    (I)           Small Bore Training Range, Bldg, 172 and adjacent posted areas.

    (j)               Small Arms Magazine, Bldg. 47.

    (k)               Ordnance Training Office, Bldg. 359.

    (L) Garage area, Disaster Preparedness material and Equipment issue, Bldg. 8.

    (m)               Gas Instruction Chamber, Bldg. 40.

    (n)              Armory, Bldg. 232.

    (o)              Saluting Battery Magazine, Bldg. 432.

    (p)               Saluting Battery.

    (q)              All Branch Dispensary spaces.

    (r)               Hull Athletic Field (between sunset and sunrise).

    (s)               Building 429 including bleachers and Press Box (between sunset and sunrise, except during command sponsored events).

    (t)               Building 222 including surrounding bleachers of the boxing arena (between sunset and sunrise, except during command sponsored events).

b.                               The following areas fall into special categories. Restrictions set forth do not apply to persons required by official duties to enter area.

        (1)               Sail Ho Golf Course. The limits of the Golf course are prohibited to all personnel from one‑half hour after sunset to 0700.

        (2)               The 5" and 3" Gun Installations on Preble Field. Unauthorized use or operation of this equipment is prohibited.

        (3)                       The Admiral Kidd Club Area, Parking Lot and Piers. Unauthorized use or operation of this equipment is prohibited.

        (4)  Naval Training Center BOQ Complex Including Surrounding Grounds:

Prohibited to all persons except for Residents, active duty and retired

officers and guests. Tennis Courts are governed by regulations posted

at the BOQ Tennis Courts.

        (5)               Recreation Vehicle Stowage Lot Prohibited to all persons except for patrons.

        (6)               Estuary. The waterfront area on the east side of Chauncey Road between building 446 (Special Services Boat Pier) and Gearing Drive (Camp Nimitz Bridge) is prohibited to all persons between sunset and sunrise.

C.                              Recruit Training Command RTC). The entire Recruit Training Command Complex is a restricted area as indicated by signs posted at all entry points. Personnel may enter the Recruit Training Command area for official duties only. Recruit visiting for graduating recruits and Apprentice trainees is permitted on Fridays from 1600 to 1830 and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 1100 to 1830. Visitors must contact the Recruit Reception Center in the Recruit Training Command Administration building (Bldg. 328) for information. All visitors must leave the Recruit Training Command Area upon completion of visiting hours. Compliance with these regulations is mandatory to preclude interference with the recruit training program.
